I have seen other "One-Handed Tai-Otoshi" videos online where the Tori (person throwing) is using 2 hands. If you are using 2 hands, then it's not "One-Handed".
This is an actual One-Handed Tai-Otoshi. "Kata-Te" is Japanese for "One-Hand".
The grip is broken with the shoulders and not the arms. This makes all the difference when fighting a bigger opponent. The footwork for this version of Tai-Otoshi is just 1 step, so it's super fast because it's half the steps of a typical Tai-Otoshi.
When throwing with control, you can easily setup the Juji-Gatame before they're done falling.
