The purpose of this page is to try and answer some of the questions that you might have.

If there is something that is not answered on this page, please feel free to reach out via the Contact page.

IMPORTANT: The videos posted are intended to be used by practicing Judo and Jiu-Jitsu students, who train in a professional environment, as a means of supplementing their existing instruction. Judo and Jiu-Jitsu should never be practiced without direct supervision from a qualified instructor in a proper environment.


  1. Do you rank via online training?
    No. Promotions and ranking only happen in the Dojo.

  2. How often are videos added to the Paid Content?
    The goal is to add new content a minimum of once per week. It all depends on the work load, production, and complexity of the videos.

  3. Do you take technique requests?
    For sure, within reason. Use the Contact page to let us know what questions you have.

    NOTE: Some techniques that are very dangerous or have a high risk of injury won't be entertained due to protecting my students on the mat. I take pride in safe training in my Dojo and because of this, we have very very few injuries.

  4. Why do the techniques look different?
    We do a lot of variations on techniques. The techniques that we work on are variations because they solve certain aspects or components of techniques commonly used in Sport Judo. The techniques most commonly used in Sport Judo today are very heavily Gi dependent and a geared towards speed, power, and against a similarly sized opponent. Our variations and adjustments are all about good body mechanics, leverage, grip, strategy, balance, etc, which allows for most of them to be done with or without a Gi and, most importantly, outside of the Dojo against larger, faster, stronger opponents.

  5. Is there audio on The Technique Only videos?
    No. The Technique Only videos are just demonstrating the technique, combination, counter, etc. Only the Instruction videos have audio.

  6. Do you have 4K videos?
    Not at this moment. The videos are pulled from a custom designed video system that records multiple angles of everything I do. The number of cameras and file sizes are HUGE. The resolution of the cameras recording is more than double 1080p resolution.

  7. Why do you have the videos from your YouTube channel posted here too?
    This is the Free Content portion of the site and allows you to see all of our videos on a single platform.

  8. Why are the videos are slow to load?
    Streaming video always takes more bandwidth than photos or other content. If you are on WiFi or a mobile device, you are very likely being limited by that device's connectivity to the Internet.

  9. How much are the Subscription Plans?
    The current pricing for the Plans can be found at the Online Payment & Store (new tab/window).

  10. Are there any options to pay for the year vs month-to-month?
    Not at the moment, but that may change in the future.

  11. What payment methods do you accept?
    I currently only accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. More may be added in the future.

  12. Do you accept PayPal?
    Not at this time.

  13. Does your site store any Credit Card information?
    Our site does NOT store or transmit any Credit Card information. The site only stores login information associated with your account. All Credit Card transactions are done through the Online Payment & Store (new tab/window), which passes the request to purchase along with an encrypted secure token to the Payment Processor (Stripe). All Credit Card information is input directly in to the Payment Processor's (Stripe) servers and is NOT seen or transmitted through any of the teamhaasjudo.com servers.

  14. Do you have a Free Trial?
    Because you can browse the content before signing up, there is no Free Trial period.

  15. What is your Refund Policy?
    The Refund Policy is covered in our Terms of Service Agreement.

  16. What is your Cancellation Policy?
    The Cancellation Policy is covered in our Terms of Service Agreement.

  17. How do I change my account information (password, email, user name)?
    You can change your account information by going to the Profile pic in the upper right hand corner and click on "My Account".

  18. I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
    Use the Contact page.

  19. Ho do I cancel my Membership?
    Use the Contact page. Be sure to provide us with your account information (User Name and Email). If all of the information requested is NOT provided, then the request to cancel the account will not be completed. When the account is cancelled, you will receive a Confirmation Number via email.

  20. How do I update my Credit Card information?
    Your Credit Card information can be updated through the Online Payment & Store, by clicking HERE (new tab/window). IMPORTANT: During the Checkout process, you will need to DELETE the existing Credit Card on file, then be sure to select the option to "Use for Recurring Payment".
