First Responder Sponsorship - 6 Months or 1 Year : Support your local Police, Fire, and EMS Professionals by sponsoring 6 Months or 1 Year of training with Team Haas Judo Jiu-Jitsu for each Seat purchased (number of Seats reflected by Qty purchased). The First Responder filling that Seat will have access to all regularly scheduled classes free of charge to them as well as any Samurai Sunday training days during the sponsored period.

Departments have limited budgets that are controlled by politicians and city bureaucrats that tend to divert funds to other pet projects or objectives. This is a way for our community to help get our First Responders more quality training on a consistent basis.

Benefits for Local Police, Sheriff Deputies, State Troopers : When our Officers have consistent quality training, they are more confident with their physical ability to handle situations without the need to use excessive force, or rely heavily on the use of tools and weapons, like the Baton, Pepper Spray, Taser, and Gun. This creates a far safer and more controlled interaction with the Public.

Our philosophy at Team Haas Judo Jiu-Jitsu, is to give our officers the tools they need to take control of a situation using as little force as possible. This results in fewer injuries to the Officer and the Public.

Benefits for Fire Fighters : Firefighters are typically the very first people on the scene after 911 is called, outside of criminal activity. The people they are often responding to are not always in their normal frame of mind, are sometimes completely hysterical, and unintentionally combative.

Training at Team Haas Judo Jiu-Jitsu will give them the skills needed to take control of someone without injuring them. Good control keeps everyone safe until the perspective parties can calm themselves to a manageable level.

Benefits for EMS : With the same risks as Firefighters, our EMS Professionals are often locked in a tight enclosed space while transporting someone to receive medical attention. There isn't a lot of room in the back of an ambulance. Learning skills that will help to take physical control of a situation in a confined space is very important.
